CCTV & Security Systems Cardiff
CCTV and alarms that cover the way somebody would actually get in, hard wired rather than battery, and working on your phone before we leave.

CCTV & Security Installation In Cardiff
Surveyed First, Then Sited Where It Counts
We survey the property before quoting because 4 cameras pointed at a driveway, with nothing on the back gate, is the system we get called out to replace. Fewer cameras in the right places beat more cameras in the wrong ones, and we would rather tell you that than sell you the bigger package.
Our security system services include:
- CCTV installation for homes and businesses
- Hard wired IP camera systems
- Intruder and burglar alarm installation
- Alarm repairs, servicing and takeovers
- Video door entry and intercom systems
- Access control and door release
- External security and sensor lighting
- Remote viewing and mobile app setup
- Landlord and communal block systems
- Commercial and industrial installations
Every install is handed over with the recording tested and the app running on your own phone.
Thinking About CCTV Or An Alarm?
Whether it’s a single camera over a back door or a full site system, no job is too big or too small for our electricians.
Security Installations Across Cardiff & Nearby
Cardiff-based, so if a camera drops off the network, we can come and look rather than talk you through it.
We install across the whole city and out into the Vale.
A terrace with a rear lane and a detached house with a long drive need cameras in completely different places, which is why we survey before quoting rather than pricing by camera count.

Cameras That See Something Useful
The two questions that matter are what you want to see and how far away it is. A camera that covers a whole garden will give you a moving shape at night and nothing you could identify. Two cameras covering the approach and the door will give you a face.
We use hard wired cameras rather than battery ones wherever we can run a cable, because they record continuously, they do not miss the first two seconds of an event, and they do not need charging. Where a cable is genuinely not possible, we will say so and price the alternative honestly.
Recording goes to a unit sited somewhere a burglar will not find in thirty seconds, which is not the hallway cupboard. We set up remote viewing on your phone before we leave and show you how to pull a clip off it, because that is the bit people need at seven in the morning and cannot remember.
If you are pointing a camera beyond your own boundary, there are data protection obligations that come with it. We will tell you where that line falls on your property.
Commercial Security & Access Control
Shops, Offices, Units & Communal Blocks
For commercial premises, the requirement is usually a mix. Cameras for the shop floor and the yard, alarm coverage for out of hours, and access control so the right people get through the right doors without a bunch of keys going missing.
We install and maintain systems for shops, offices, warehouses and industrial units across Cardiff, and we plan the work around your trading hours so you are not shut for it. Where you already have a system that has been abandoned by whoever fitted it, we can often take it over rather than rip it out.
Access control is where we save clients the most trouble. Fob and code entry means a leaver stops having access the same afternoon rather than after a lock change. For blocks of flats, video entry with a proper door release usually solves the tailgating problem landlords ring us about.
Cabling, containment and supply all get done to the same standard as the rest of our commercial work, and tested on completion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our CCTV & Security FAQs
How many cameras do I actually need?
Fewer than most quotes suggest, if they are in the right places. We survey the property first and work out where somebody would approach from, rather than pricing by camera count.
Are wireless cameras as good as wired ones?
Not really. Battery cameras miss the start of an event and stop working in cold weather. Where we can run a cable we will, and hard wired systems record continuously.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes, and we set that up before we leave rather than emailing you a manual. We also show you how to save and share a clip, which is the part people need in a hurry.
Can you repair a system somebody else installed?
Usually. Plenty of our security work is taking over systems whose installer has disappeared. We will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.
